They'll have the subway director watch the series "Bob the Builder" to learn how to use a drill.

Convoy with neighborhood.- At the request of citizens, Adrián Rubalcava, the new director of the Mexico City Metro, will begin watching episodes of the series "Bob the Builder" as part of his intensive training to learn how to use basic tools without putting anyone at risk.

This came after the official himself published a series of photographs showing that he has never used a drill in his life and probably confuses a screwdriver with a snow scoop.

Today we were at the @MetroCDMX Copilco station, making improvements to the external and internal image, to provide safer and more dignified spaces for all users. “Well, what do you expect me to do if I was afraid of hammers as a child?” Adriancito retorted after reading several constructive comments from not-so-patient citizens.

The director of the Metro will now pretend that he knows how to use cranes.

Although Rubalcava blocked comments on his social media accounts to avoid digital bullying, he did make a note to start watching the children's program that so many recommended, hoping that the next time he does a photoshoot, he'll at least know how to hold a sledgehammer without looking like he's about to ring a fairground bell.

“We wanted to take some photos where I was going to be on top of a crane… I'd better wait to watch some episodes of Bob , right?” the official, who rode the Metro for the first time in 2024, humorously commented.

Although he will refrain from posting more photos of himself pretending to be working with tools for now, he did promise to continue sharing images in which he appears intently in front of a computer or giving orders with a serious expression. However, it's not out of the question that he could once again climb into the cab of a train car to pretend he's driving the convoy on the path to progress.

In case you missed it: an airline lost the robot belonging to some Mexican students, and they were no longer able to participate in the competition they were going to.
